Hjernekraft Uka brings concerts, culture and local activities to Nome. The 19–25 April 2027 edition has been announced for Ulefoss.
Confirmed highlights for 2027
- 21 April at 12:00: Åge Aleksandersen and the senior day. Attendance from the start is required; the ticket page states an age limit of 18. Hoopla
- 23 April at 17:30: an alcohol-free event for children and young people with TIX. Parents may buy tickets to accompany children. Hoopla
- 24 April at 17:30: the closing party with Staut, Halva Priset, Madeléne and Tipping for’n far. The ticket page states an age limit of 18. Hoopla
These three events are at Ulefoss idrettspark. This is a selection of confirmed highlights, rather than the complete week’s programme. Check admission rules, ages, timings, prices and ticket availability with the organiser before booking.
Plan your visit
Choose your events first, then decide how many nights fit your travel plans. Wednesday’s senior day requires arrival at the programme’s start. For Friday and Saturday, allow time for parking and admission. The Friday event asks visitors to follow parking stewards and says cars cannot be driven into the venue.
Consider a quieter day between concerts and check which Telemark Canal attractions are open in April. Canal cruises and summer activities have their own seasons and booking arrangements.
Telemark Guesthouse is not the organiser. Programme, tickets and conditions are the organiser’s responsibility. Check the venue again for future editions: the 2028 event has been described as planned for Lunde.

Stay near the canal
Stay together during Hjernekraft Uka
Share a four-bedroom holiday house in the Ulefoss area and plan transport to your chosen events. A whole house can suit families and friends who want to stay together and prepare their own meals.
Arrange your outward and return transport before booking accommodation. Telemark Guesthouse is a historic farmhouse in Lunde near Ulefoss, but a stay does not include transport to the concerts. Check the route, traffic and any taxi or public transport options for your actual times. Do not assume a service will be available after the final concert.
