Dyrsku’n brings visitors, exhibitors and farming communities to Seljord for a busy September weekend. If several people are travelling together, accommodation is worth planning early: a whole house gives a family, group of friends or small exhibitor team room to share meals and arrange the trip at their own pace.

When is Dyrsku’n 2027?
The organiser has announced 10–12 September 2027. Check the official Dyrsku’n website for the current programme, opening hours, tickets and visitor information before making plans. Accommodation is booked separately from admission.
What can you expect?
Dyrsku’n is held at Dyrskuplassen in Seljord. Agriculture, animals, local food, crafts and trade meet over three days. It can be a full day out for a family or a working weekend for an exhibitor. The exact 2027 activities and timetable should be checked with the organiser rather than assumed from previous years.
- Allow time to explore the large event grounds.
- Check which activities interest different members of your group before choosing a day.
- Review the organiser’s latest advice on parking, accessibility and entry.
Staying together near Seljord
Telemark Guesthouse is a farmhouse holiday rental between Ulefoss and Lunde, approximately 45–50 minutes by car from Dyrskuplassen under normal conditions. Traffic around the event can make the journey longer, so leave extra time. A base outside Seljord can suit visitors who want to return to quieter surroundings after a crowded day.
The whole house accommodates up to 15 guests: 13 regular beds and two folding beds, across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, a kitchen, shared living space and parking. Families and small groups can prepare breakfast together and agree who will drive, rather than coordinating several separate rooms.
Plan your festival weekend
- Check dates and ticket conditions on the organiser’s website.
- Book accommodation early if you need space for a group.
- Decide how many cars you need and verify the latest parking arrangements.
- Bring footwear and clothing suitable for changing September weather and time outdoors.
- Confirm the day’s programme and travel time again shortly before departure.
Telemark Guesthouse is not the organiser of Dyrsku’n. Event dates, programme, tickets, traffic and access rules must always be confirmed directly with Dyrsku’n.
